Your accommodations are part of the history of Chloride, Arizona. Many of the rooms are made of adobe, which holds both heat and cold, making a natural form of temperature control. There is a story about the wives of miners living in the rooms being frightened by range cattle coming into town and eating the vegatation that grows in the wash that flows under the building. It is said that the women would boil water and throw it at the cows to make them go away.

Some rooms have paintings on the walls by Tony Mafia, a now famous painter from Brussels. He was not so famous when he lived here and painted the walls that surrounded him. Also Roy Purcell once lived in town and painted Murals on the mountainside. He now owns his own gallery in Henderson, NV.

One of our Adobe buildings is now the home of "Yesterday's Restaurant".

The building has had many tenants through the years.

It was a stop for Stage Coaches - You can still see the hooks in the ceiling used to hoist the coach up so the wheels could be greased.

The original display cases from when it was a 'general store' are now part of the bar.

In more recent times the building was home to a saddle-maker and local artisans.
